  • 2. SCOPE OF WORKThe main objective of the assignment is to support the Ministry of Education and Training in developing a new curriculum for Grades 4 - 7. The consultancy will cover three (3) phases:PHASE 1 # conduct a feasibility study for the new curriculum for Grade 4-7.- This work will include conducting stakeholder consultations focusing on curriculum gap analysis; desk review and alignment of Grade 4 # 7 curriculum with industry needs and global standards (as well as with the completed Grade 1 -3 curriculum).PHASE 2- work with MoET in developing a new curriculum for Grades 4-7. Key processes will include:- Develop a manual to guide curriculum development processes within NCDC and capacity development of the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) personnel and subject panels on new curriculum development processes.- Develop scope and sequence charts, syllabi, schemes of work, lesson plans and timetables for teachers- Collaborate and mentor NCDC and subject panels in conducting the development of the new curriculum for Grades 4 -7.PHASE 3: The institutional contract will support NCDC in piloting the new curriculum.
